Why a CPO Certification?
The PHTA Certified Pool & Spa Operator Certification is recognized by local an d state authorities as the most widely-accepted,
verifiable pool and spa training credential. Each year, more than 30,000 professionals learn how to more efficiently operate safer aquatic facilities
with this program. The CPO Certification is valid for five years.
This is an approved National Environmental Health Association course which will earn you 16 CEUs.
The CPO Certification course will help you understand how to:
Operate a pool more easily and efficiently — saving time and money.
Reduce chemical, electrical, biological, and physical hazards — protecting users and employees.
Comply to key safety regulations — reducing liability and risk of closure.

TACO Scholarship
TACO awards four (4) $500 scholarships a year towards education of a TACO member or someone related to a TACO member. If you know of someone that is in need, that follows the above criteria, have them submit an application to be considered.
